The Wobbel Pro with pressed Felt is the twin sister of the Wobbel Original with Felt. The big difference: The Wobbel Pro has no wool felt but recycled pressed felt on the bottom. That makes this Pro suitable for intensive use. The pressed felt mainly consists of recycled PET bottles. Just like the wool felt, it not only protects the Wobbel from scratches it also protects the floor and reduces noise. The soft, felt look means an extra invitation to the every child. This felt does not peel and is easy to clean. The available color pressed felt forms a beautiful and unique contrast with the wood.

Wobbel what? What is it for and what can you do with it? 

It is the question we get asked the most and it is the question you probably want an answer too before getting your own one:

The Wobbel is a beautiful and robust redesign of a traditional Steiner (Waldorf) balance board. The simple design inspires creative play in children while helping them reach key developmental milestones. You can rock it, balance on it, push it, spin it, flip it and slide down it, sit on it or use it as a footstool, make it into a see-saw, a boat or a resting place or a doll's house – the play opportunities are endless! It is the wooden toy that moves young and old. It grows with your child, younger children can crawl onto it and rock gently, they can use it as a bridge for their toys, while older children will stand and rock and incorporate building blocks or marble runs with the Wobbel as a base.

The Wobbel stimulates balance and strength during play and use. In a playful way, but very efficiently, it supports physical awareness and balance. In our own experience the Wobbel works like a magnet on children. It is a toy that doesn’t need to be put away after playing with it. It looks great in every living room. It is designed for indoor use, but can also be used outside with sufficient care.

Wobbel Safety
Always let children play under adult supervision and let them get used to the Wobbel. Help them when needed and make clear what can and can't be done with it. Beware of fingers and toes at the edges. Teach your child from the first time to never hold the edges. Provide at least two meters of free space (also to other children) around the Wobbel and place it on a flat, horizontal surface. Make sure they don't wear socks or smooth shoes, otherwise they might slip and they could fall. Barefoot or non-slip shoes prevent slipping. Wobbel is designed for indoor play. It may be used outdoors but this will increase wear and tear to the board and the felt base.
